We are always doing our best to make the server a better place for everyone. However, it sometimes happens that our updates and resets carry out unintended and unwanted behaviors and issues, known as bugs. This is why you have the option to report those issues by submitting a bug report HERE. We gladly appreciate that you help us keep the network a safe and fun place for everyone.
- All bug reports must be written in English.
- Before making a bug report, check the common issues below and see if your issue is there. Some issues occur on your end and are only fixable by you.
- When reporting anti-cheat issues, a video of them is required.
- Make sure you are playing on the correct Minecraft version when reporting issues related to our anti-cheat (1.8.9 unless stated otherwise).
- Be descriptive of what the bug is and how you caused it. Giving clear details on how to reproduce the bug will make fixing it much quicker.
- Try to record the bug or take screenshots of it so it is easier for us to understand it.
Blocked By The Anti-VPN System
Being blocked from joining by our anti-VPN system is primarily caused by using a VPN. If you are using one, turn it off and rejoin. If you are being blocked while you are not using a VPN, make an appeal HERE and we will solve the problem for you as soon as possible.
VPN bypass requests can also be made while appealing. For those, please provide us with additional information about the VPN you are using as well as why you need to use it.

Cannot Send Chat Message
If you are not able to type in chat and are only able to use commands, you likely have set your chat to Commands Only. To solve it, go to Options → Chat Settings and set the chat option to Chat: Shown.

You Should Join Using Username, Not USERNAME
If you are asked to join with a differently capitalized username, there are two reasons why this can be the case. The first is that someone may have already registered that username on our network. In that case, use a different username when joining the server. If you registered the username on PikaNetwork, change the capitalization of your username to what is stated and you will be able to join.
A screenshot example of this issue is provided below.

Exceeded The Maximum Number Of Registrations
If you are trying to register a new account and are being stopped from doing so because you have exceeded the maximum number of registrations, you can restart your router multiple times to forcibly change your IP address and thus bypass the account limit. This applies regardless of whether the listed accounts belong to you or not. Alternatively, if this solution does not work for you, you can use a VPN to register your new account. If you get picked up by the anti-VPN system, appeal HERE explaining the situation. Note that we do not recommend using VPNs unless absolutely necessary and that the first option is a better solution.

Incorrect Bans From Months or Years Ago
Sometimes, you may see a ban screen that has nothing to do with you or anything you have done. These bans are usually months or years old. To check if your ban is one of these, go to the punishment page (or click HERE) and search for your username. If that ban is not there, there is a high chance you picked up a banned player's IP address. If you encounter this issue, make an appeal HERE and we will solve it for you as soon as possible.
As mentioned above, if possible, always support your report with screenshots or videos. There are plenty of software available online that can help you do this. For capturing screenshots, the recommended software is Lightshot. For capturing video evidence, the suggested software is Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). Make sure to upload your pieces of evidence and provide the links to them in your thread.
How to Use Lightshot
- Download Lightshot HERE.
- Press PrntScr if you're on the Windows operating system or Command + Shift + 9 if you're on the Mac operating system on your keyboard (the default keybinds) which will momentarily allow you to select the area on your screen that you want to capture.
- Select the area of your screen that you would like to screenshot.
- Press Ctrl + D (Windows) or Command + D (Mac) to upload a screenshot of the selected area directly to Lightshot servers. This will present you with a link that you can submit as evidence in your bug report thread. Alternatively, you can copy the selected area and upload it to Imgur instead. Click HERE to upload the image to Imgur. Make sure to provide the link to your screenshot in the bug report thread either way.
How to Use OBS
- Download OBS HERE.
- Launch the application and in the Sources tab, click on the plus (+) button to add a source.
- Click on Display Capture. This will record your entire screen.
- Click on OK.
- Your entire screen will be recorded once you click on Start Recording.
Disclaimer
While we have given our suggestions, you can use software that best suits you as well. However, always make sure to upload your pieces of evidence to reputable platforms like YouTube or Imgur.
Minecraft username
- Write the username you currently use on our server.
- Give an appropriate title to the bug you're reporting. The title should be short and descriptive of the issue.
- Specify the gamemode where the bug has occurred.
- Specify the version of the game you were using when the bug happened.
- In this part, you should talk in detail about how you found this bug. Talk about what you were doing before you encountered it, what you did to cause it, what its impact was, etc.
- In this question, you should be precise about the main action that was supposed to happen if the bug didn't occur. In other words, describe what would have happened if the bug didn't exist.
- Put the link to the evidence that you have already uploaded to either YouTube or Imgur.
- When writing a bug report make sure to take your time explaining the bug. More details mean more understanding for the developers to fix it.
- Before uploading a video or screenshot, make sure that the bug is clearly visible.
- When writing the details of the bug, make sure to mention everything that occurred so we can easily find the issue.
- When recording, make sure that you showcase everything. If you can, try to replicate the bug so we can know what happened.
- When answering the questions, use common sense, try to be as direct as possible, and ensure that you use good grammar so the developers can understand what you're saying.
When you report a bug, developers will take some time to examine the bug and your report will have one of these prefixes:
- Unassigned - The bug has been entered into our internal systems and is waiting for a developer to be assigned to it.
- Assigned - A developer has been assigned to your bug report and will take a look at it shortly.
- In Progress - The bug is currently in the process of being fixed.
- In Review - The fix for this bug is being reviewed.
- To Be Deployed - The fix has been deployed and the bug should be resolved once the server reboots.
Depending on the following prefixes, you will be able to know if you have received compensation for your report:
- Fixed - The bug you've reported has been fixed, and you've been rewarded with gold.
- Invalid - Your bug report has been deemed invalid due to (one of) multiple possible factors.
If your bug report was marked as fixed but you did not receive the gold, please open a support ticket HERE.
Important Notes Regarding Gold
- The amount of gold you receive depends on the bug's priority.
- You can claim your gold using the /wallet command on our Discord server.
- You must have at least 500 gold in your wallet before being able to claim it.
- You cannot claim more than 10,000 gold in one claim.
- All given gold will stay in your wallet for a year.
Thank you for reporting bugs and helping us create a better player experience.
