so when I type finish my message and send it, a system message comes out saying smt along the lines of "can't send the message"

I think there was someone with a similar problem. Try restarting you router

doesn't seem like it, cause whenever i send a party message it's able to send. idk why public message hates me

I'd suggest you make a support ticket so staff members can look into this matter.
