What is Discord?

Discord is a communication platform which is used to chat or talk with others. You can have contact with someone privately, but you can also join servers to communicate with multiple people. Discord is free to use, but you can get access to paid features like custom emojis and better video quality by purchasing Discord Nitro.

How do I get access to Discord?

First of all, you have to create a Discord account which can be done HERE. If you have successfully created an account, you can either download Discord or use the browser version in order to use it. To download the app, you can go HERE.

How do I get access to the PikaNetwork Discord server?

You can join the PikaNetwork Discord server by clicking HERE. We have multiple text and voice channels to use and events and updates are posted there. Make sure to have a look.

Can I break contact with/block another member?

Of course, our Discord is a safe space for everyone. So if someone is making you feel unsafe in any way or you wish to cut contact for any other reason, you may block them. To block someone, first click on their profile and thereafter on the three dots in the top right corner. Finally, click 'Block'.

What are the rules in the PikaNetwork Discord server?

All rules that are to be followed in the official Discord are found HERE. Make sure to read them fully before joining.

The official PikaNetwork Discord server has over 130,000 members and is the server's primary source of communication between players outside Minecraft. This next section will briefly go over all channels, and roles of importance while explaining what each of them do.

• #information - Where all Discord information is briefly explained
• #announcements - Where all major updates, resets and important news are announced
• #notices - Where all minor updates and less important news are announced
• #events - Where events are announced and hosted by Team Events
• #staff-updates - Where all changes in the staff team (e.g., promotions and resignations) are logged
• #media - Where media Twitch and YouTube rank members promote their content
• #public-chat - Where all members can engage in daily conversations
• #community-help - Where members can seek assistance regarding our network from other members

In order to gain full access to the official PikaNetwork Discord server (e.g. /info command, donator roles, giveaways, etc.), you must first link your registered Minecraft account to the PikaNetwork Discord. This is a fairly simple and straightforward process that only takes about 5 minutes. Follow the steps listed below:

1. Join our Minecraft server (play.pika-network.net).
2. Open the chat and type /linkaccount. You will be given a combination of text that you will use to link your accounts.
3. Copy the said combination of text.
4. Go to the #commands channel in our Discord server.
5. Type /linkaccount [combination of text] and press send/enter.
6. Your account will automatically be linked through our bot. Well done!

CraftiGames Roles

Given to employees of CraftiGames, the company owning PikaNetwork. More information on CraftiGames can be found HERE.

Staff Roles

These roles are given to members of the staff team. More information on the staff team can be found HERE. Ranks are listed in order from highest to lowest. New staff will always receive Trial, higher ranks are obtained via promotions. You can apply for staff HERE.

• Trial

Staff members will never ask about personal information such as passwords, banking or any other sensitive information. Never share your personal information with other members. Note that the only official way to contact staff is by making a support ticket HERE.

Media Roles

Given to members of the media team to create content on PikaNetwork. Media members get access to an in game rank with many unique perks for content creation, along with access to promotion in #media. More information on the media team can be found HERE. You can apply for a media rank HERE. There are only 2 media ranks:

Message Roles

After reaching certain amounts of messages, you will automatically receive new roles with some cool perks as a reward. Information on perks can be found in the #information channel. Required messages are as follows:

• Pika Thumb (1,000+)
• Pika Slurp (3,500+)
• Pika Nom (10,000+)
• Pika DJ (20,000+)
• Pika Yay (50,000+)
