How to brew a potion?

I know how to brew a potion and all but today I made a brewing stand to make a harming potion. I got the necessary items and when I opened the stand and put the items in but when I put the blaze powerder in it returend back to my inventory! Pls help

The video given above is 2 to 3 days old and the game play is 4 to 6 days before,potions are brewable your just insufficient in knowledge,you should watch the video before replying without watching video given above and putting a statement is uniformed and last the thing happen to that guy up he saying something disappear which is an illusion happen to him he is new so he dont know things
